Story Telling Through Fiber Art – A Karin Tauber Exhibit

Story Telling Through Fiber Art

Fiber Art is a powerful way to tell stories, address social and political issues, narrate

books, or simply tell a happy tale. Karin Täuber’s international background inspires her

award-winning art. She has always been intrigued by colors, fibers, and the imaginary

world. Painting with thread brings these passions together and allows her to tell a

unique story with each quilt.

Exhibit opening: January 17, 2025

Artist reception: March 27

Karins Bio:

Coming from a very traditional quilting background, but with a lifelong love for photography, children’s books, and different art mediums Karin has always been intrigued by color and fibers. She specializes in art quilts that tell a story; thoughtful, mystical, heart breaking, or tongue-in-cheek. Creating art hasn’t been boring since the fairies moved into her studio!
