Create Appalachia’s Gallery at the KCAAT
The exhibit committee at Create Appalachia celebrates all forms of art, traditional and new.
We strive to:
- Build bridges between emerging and established artists and genres;
- Cultivate creativity in the greater Appalachian region, with a focus on our own 33-county service area;
- Be a support system and a resource for Appalachian artists, helping launch and strengthen careers;
- Welcome those who may be new to calling themselves artists;
- Offer free access to exhibits of work that reflects the culture, history, beauty, and diversity of creativity in our region.
Our gallery represents a diverse pool of art and artists of the region, showcasing mediums such as photography, digital illustrations, 3D printing, film, painting, fiber, and much more.
The gallery is located in our Kingsport Center for Art & Technology at 225 W Center Street, Kingsport, TN 37660. Open weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5 PM and also by appointment.
