Dr. Katie Hoffman, Executive Director of Create Appalachia, will serve on a team of scholars working to showcase and promote traditional artists and artisans from across Southwest Virginia. This team is part of a larger multi-state project seeking to increase the level of financial support and resources for artists and artisans who maintain and shape Appalachian traditions.
